However, objects in the photo is not the end point of the trip to explore space - it is just one of many signs that a node in the universe!
Photo shows an exploded star in a supernova explosion that disbeut explosion. There are several different types of supernova explosions. Types that appear with the rest of the star as it appears in the photograph referred to as a Type Ia supernova. Supernova explosions of this type is very useful for astronomers to calculate distances in the universe.
Obviously astronomers can not measure the distance to objects in space using a ruler. However, every Type Ia supernova have the same brightness as the star exploded. That is, astronomers can determine how much of their existence from kecerlangannya when viewed from the Earth: The weaker the explosion, the more distant location.
With the detection of Type Ia Supernova in various locations in the universe, astronomers can use it to calculate the distance to the nearest object that is around them. Thus, the supernova explosion acts like objects that glow in the dark (glow in the dark) as the distance markers in space!
Interesting facts: a single star that exploded as a Type Ia supernova can shoot as much light as an entire galaxy of hundreds of billions of stars!
